1- You are acknowledged when you enter

2- They have a menu of prices

3- They are licensed

4- The salon is well kept, clean and has good lighting

and… 5- They are busy

If these BASICS are not fulfilled when you arrive…you’re heading towards disaster!!! AND don’t be afraid to ask questions about pricing and experience of stylists. You deserve to know

I agree…comfort is also a MUST for me. I love when you enter a salon and they offer you a beverage or your favorite gossip mag. It just eases you while you wait for them to be ready for you. My favorite is when they have those leather foot stools…so that you can put your feet up while they wash your hair mmm…mmm…mm

…and they have to be friendly, rather than stuck up. Don’t let these stylists mis-treat you ladies. You are not only paying for a service but hospitality too.
