Bayridge, Brooklyn, home to delish pizza, the cannoli (italian pastry), wonderful baklava (middle eastern pastry) and the Chinese Hair Salon?! Who knew… I am born and raised in Brooklyn and just found out myself!Yes, they exist and they are yet another great place to visit for your cheap, weekly, blow out.
A small salon, on 87th Street and 3rd Avenue, Bayridge, Brooklyn, NY called Trendy where you literally lay down on a leather lounge chair to get your hair washed. Ooh comfy! Let’s face it, it was not trendy, but…I was in and out in 40 minutes. The most amazing part of the whole experience is…ready for this… 2 Hair dryers!!! The stylist was fast and held 2 dryers. Apparently, this is their thing. All of the stylists held 2 hair dryers to blow dry. Next BIG thing $10 and up blow outs. Ooh La La!!! What more can a girl ask for. I have long, wavy hair and paid $16.00… AND it looked really good… So venture to Bayridge the land of pizza, pastries and Chinese Hair Salons and give it a shot or 2
