Bangs have been an ongoing trend for quite some time now. They can take 5-10 years off-which is always a plus…but when you look 5-10 years old…not so much 
So I went to my hair stylist Robert Santana(hair stylist and owner of Elements Hair Studio, Brooklyn) and he explained that when he cuts bangs he always cuts them longer going towards your temples and leaves them shorter along the middle. I always get complimented on mine(he did them, of course) and I think that may be the trick. When you cut them strait across he thinks they look “too childlike”. He also always cuts them so they lay passed my eyebrows and I personally think those are the most flattering to pull off. I love that when they are longer you can simply part them in the middle and style the back and have an updo…fabulouuussss Try it…the next time you cut some bangs.
