How to say Bye, Bye Bangs and Hello to Style!

Bye, Bye, Bangs… I really had fun with my bangs. I hadn’t had bangs since I was a child and I felt youthful and very cute. Of course, now I’m ready to move on and left with bangs that are to long to wear straight down and to short to style to the side.

Tisk, tisk, what to do? Well, being a self-proclaimed, hair style expert, here is what I have for you…

1. Head bands and hats: We are lucky that right now it is pretty much head band heaven. From the Bumble & Bumble Button Band to a silk scarf, we really have lots of options in this area with out risking style. Hats have always been my thing and I definitely feel this is a great option, especially since it is the winter.

2. Clips and Bobby Pins:Ok ready, a little goes a long way with this option. Don’t put 5 pins or clips in your hair. It is tacky and looks silly. Do part your hair either in the middle or on what ever side you prefer and put your favorite clip or pin to hold it down.

3. Styling Products: Try using a molding paste or gel that will give you some control but, not crazy shine. I like shiny hair, but it has to follow through. I suggest using a little molding paste and creating a side swept bang. Or parting in the middles and whisping those bangs to either side.

At any rate use this growing time (not growing pain) to be creative and don’t give in to cutting them again. If you are moving on than go for it with style and grace.
