Located next to Hermès on Madison Avenue in New York City, the Rodolfo Valentin Salon is a hidden gem, exclusive to the elite, or so I thought. I was invited to the salon for a hair cut with the master himself and couldn’t wait!
Walking in you realize you are entering his world, one of beauty and glamour. He and his staff offer the crème de la crème in customer service, talent and they are all calienté (hot)!
After I get my hair washed by an El Salvadorian import, I finally get to meet Rodolfo Valentin…in the flesh!
Rodolfo is not only regarded as one of the most talented hair stylists in the world, he also wins multiple awards each year to further prove his talent. He loves his salon in NYC & Long Island (which is 10,000 sq. ft.) and is passionate about his charity.
Named after his mother, Sofia’a Hair for Health is a project he holds near and dear.
I saw women of all ages with Cancer, thanking him for hair extensions and wigs that made them look amazing and feel healthy and beautiful again!
I had so much fun getting my own hair cut (as you can see from the picture my hair looked fabulous)! I fell in love with Rodolfo who even shared his secret to a tight stomach with me (“suck it in…always”).
