Great for looking casual chic during the day for for a night out!
Super easy-to-do:
1) First decide where you want the knot.
2) Now create a ponytail on your head in that location with a covered elastic band. Divide your ponytail in two and pull the hair taut.
3) Take a long strand from near the band and wrap it around the elastic band. Bobby pin the strand into place and this will help secure your elastic band.
4) Twist your ponytail to the right from the elastic band to the ends and wrap it around the band starting on the left side of the band.
5) Tuck the ends underneath the knot and secure the sides of the knot with small or large bobby pins, depending on the heaviness of your hair.
I call it the working girl knot… Because I throw my hair up in a knot with my nerdy glasses and get into a groove at my desk. It’s also my sloppy, chic weekend do! Sometimes I even go to bed with the knot and then let it out in the morning for some extra volume!
